Plastical works

Plastical work

Sabrina d 'Agliano is inspired by working with Mokume Gane and the reflections of light on slightly moving water.

Working with wood she creates amorph forms by carefully sawing, polishing and lacing it with paint. She also works with marble, again with the saw and polishing it. Her favourite material is iron, which is being cut with a plasma-cutter as a first step. Then an angle grinder is used on the metal. Only afterwards the iron will be oxidized. It is always about beauty, elegance and focus in order to get to the essential.

She fixates the flow of time at a certain moment, thereby creating a moment of eternity - as written by R. Monticelli.
